Bonbon Caramel Frenchies is a small, family-based French Bulldog breeder in Georgetown, Texas. Our story began with my love for French Bulldogs and bonbons.
One of my favorite lines from the movie Forrest Gump has always been, " Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get"
Bonbons are colorful chocolates, each unique in appearance and flavor. They reminded me of French Bulldogs- each one has a beautiful color, individual appearance, and unforgettable personality. The connection felt perfect, and that is how Bonbon Caramel Frenchies came to life.
Life at Our French Bulldog Kennel
Our home is located on five peaceful acres in Georgetown, Texas, where our French Bulldogs have space to play, explore, and enjoy plenty of attention. Our dogs are part of our family and everyday life, and each one is cared for as an individual.
We want every puppy to grow up feeling safe, loved, and comfortable around people. From the beginning, they receive gentle handling, daily interaction and opportunities to become confident, affectionate companions.
How we raise our puppies
French Bulldog puppies require close attention from the moment they are born. Newborn puppies are delicate, so we carefully monitor their warmth, nursing, weight, and overall condition. When additional support is needed, our individual care may include feedings every three hours- day and night.
Because French Bulldogs have a higher risk of difficult deliveries, every birth is carefully planned with our veterinary guidance. When a C-section is recommended, the safety of the mother and her puppies comes first.
As the puppies grow, they receive age-appropriate nutrition, daily interaction, and early socialization, and veterinary care to help prepare them for their new families.
Health-Conscious Breeding
Our breeding dogs undergo genetic screening through Animal Genetics before being included in our breeding program. The six condition screening panel tests for genetic variants associated with Canine Multifocal Retinopathy 1 (CMR1), Cystinuria Type 3 variants 2 and 3, Degenerative Myelopathy ( DM), Hyperuricosuria (HUU), and Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts ( JHC)
Before each breeding, every parent receives an annual wellness examination and heartworm test. We also use antibody titer testing to help our veterinarian determine when a DHPP booster is appropriate. Our goal is to make thoughtful, health-conscious decisions for every pairing while prioritizing the well-being of both parents and puppies.
Nutrition & early development
Our puppies are raised on a carefully prepared raw diet consisting of approximately

We closely monitor every puppy's growth, development, and individual nutritional needs.
Beginning around six weeks of age, we introduce early potty-training foundations using a litter box with artificial turf. This helps our puppies begin learning to keep their sleeping and play areas clean.
At eight weeks of age, our puppies begin their veterinarian -directed DHPP vaccination series and receive age-appropriate deworming before joining their new families.
